It is easy to dismiss my comments as a beat up if you like. That was not the intention. My comments in regards to being careful on the RUA threads were based on watching the sniping wars that occur on stocks such as FMS/UMC and MMX/CHM. The timing of this announcement was prehaps unfortunate as it looks like it is payback.
It is not. If you read my posts, you would find it hard to think I am a gung Ho supporter of RAU.
My post on the announcment is my assesment of the facts as presented by III in their written form.
I work in the mining industry and am very aware of the requirements of things like JORC etc etc.
My frustration with the announcment is in terms of seeing an investment path in this company. One of the sectors i follow is companies that deal in Tung ( WLF caught the eye 2 years ago ). RAU dealing in Mt C, brought me to that stock, and now Mt C brought me here.
The company appeared on top of the Mt C development story, which in investing my money is important. Tailings retreatment looked a good story , and the deal with Polymetals appreared at first flush a great idea. This seemed to show that management was moving the project forward with a development plan that could be followed, and personal investment decisions made. (IMO)
Funding is always important to me as, I look to make money between raisings, and like companies in the advanced project / early PFS stage, which III appeared to me , to be heading towards. I can read the tea leaves enough to make a decison to invest based on the written communications at these stages.
To jump back in stage, from JORC 10 mt @ 0.2 to 55 mt @0.07% target means in my opinion that the project has fallen out of the advanced project status, back to a brownfield exploration play.
This is just one of my investments styles for the spec end of my portfolios, and is all based on my opinion.
Good luck to holders in III. As I have said before on posts here, i believe Mt C will be redeveloped. In my opinion its just going to take a lot longer now.
