QPM have proven the process at pilot plant level and inked a few pieces of paper with some big players. Plus lots of laterite material around.
BSX plan for future are just words on a page at the moment. Plus feels like they are not finding as much nickel in ground as they had hoped, which might explain the recent focus on DBU. Moving in the right direction but without pilot plant / validation from big players (other than EcoPro of course), then market will continue to value as it is now. I also wonder if big players are in any rush to jump on board until pilot plant has been build successfully. Hope I am wrong.
Agreed room for both in the market. QPM tech maybe even a benefit, keeping nickel price below the point where substitution becomes an issue.
