How much does a bid like this cost in fees ? $150k ?
He could have made 4 phone calls for free on his plan and got his answer.
On top of which he's exposed Wheezo to scrutiny it could probably have done without.
It will be interesting to see whether the bid quietly lapses or whether he has a Plan B.
