mudguts and birdman29 have noted that today has been the "Coldest day in Sydney for 122 years" - since 1899 in fact - 10.3 today vs 9.7 on 13 Jun1899.
But this does not take into account that todays low temperature has been registered in the face of 122 years of growth in the largest urban heat island in Australia.
Which makes the 10.3 today even more significant and probably in reality an all time coldest June day if sensible UHI corrections were made.
