Noted thanks Nij. 2019 was pre-$200M splurge on Dargues Reef which has indeed increased the capitalisation of the company.
However, the jury is still out on this acquisition. Personally, I thought it was a poor allocation of this very large amount of money.
Given Aurelia's own organic growth opportunities, poor capital returns to shareholders (one cent), ballooning share capital and other choices out there (HLX & PEX), AIS's choices have been a disappointment to date (IMO).
Everyone is waiting for upside and nothing is happening. Cobar is one of the hottest areas in Australia and our CEO is largely under the bed waiting for the geologists to give him something to crow about.
