I would ask @alonso what he thinks and go with his preference.
As a lifestyle thread it is normally a bit more casual in relation to stock threads or the high octane political threads but if you prefer to switch and start another thread perhaps you can add a few @Names in the opener so it is easier for everyone to find.
Do you use shredded paper to make fire bricks and have you considered using paper fire bricks as bricks for building up veggie patch perimeters?
As my soils have been coastal white sands I’ve used newspapers to cover the bottom of my patches, only a couple of sheets and I do make sure there’s some holes for drainage but recently a friend showed me his stack of paper fire bricks and the thought of using them as a way to make a retaining wall seeped into my head.
Is that a foolish thought?
