So we are talking now about the outewr Sydney areas where noone wants to live especially if they work within 15kms of the city.....belive me I lived there for 5 years.
Anyway lets use your figures then...u say rent is $100 less week than the $500 I presented.
Id like to see whree your renting a house in sydney for $400 week but lets use it anyway.
428,000 @ 5% = $21,400 400 x 52 = $20,800
Yes based on those figures it is $600 year cheaper to rent in the boomdocks than buy.
Not taking into consideration the freedom of having your own place, any tax deducations, interest cliams, depreciation if invesment property etc etc.
Great...lol... get me an application....I wanna rent.
A whole $50 week cheaper...that would make anyone want to rent wouldnt it?
