I find this an interesting point of view and one you’re entitled to. They went through $10’s of millions of dollars and generated one deal over 10-12 years. A deal that effectively gave the tech away for next to nothing. They sold at highs of 10 cents while failing to advise shareholders it was a ‘soft launch.’
Competence for me would have been a licensing business that did deals with multiple companies and at a commercially savvy rate. Not 1%. To me, there was nothing competent about their efforts whatsoever looking back at it.
For me, failure or not, if I had $1m to play with to try and start a company I would give it to current board over Glyn our former chairman any day.
