one thing's for sure, if the increase in CO2 levels is the determining factor in raising global temperature then there is virtually nothing that could now be done to reverse that situation - we'd have to live in caves, wrapped in loin cloths, chasing goannas for lunch.... you can't just reverse gear in a global climatic engine that's heading for disaster, if that's the case.... all current attempts to curb emissions are puny in relation to what would be needed to change the global engine - so, if it's on its way, it's on its way - too bad.... in any event it won't affect anyone posting here either way....
