That looks like him mate - beautiful fish. Not a big mouth and the tusks which he uses to grip the coral and then sucks the polyps out.

Other feature is his very thick skin eighth inch thick at least because the currents keep brushing him against the sharp coral.

Yep he freezes well after filleting but I used to like keeping the skin on during cooking the keep the flavours in.

Salty, I've not seen one with that blue tinge so maybe its a bit different on the West coast. Maybe @allens can tell us more.

I've been talking about the Conference at Noosa - and I believe the Taylor will start their run about that time - great fishing and great eating the fresh fish on the beach. It would be amazing if some fishing guys could take other Alpacas up along Cooloola Coast or Frazer.
