    Finally a more informative post.
Id tend to agree with your statement of the water accumulation. Definitely not from collapsing icecaps lol

Agreed to on the tenement offering more to explore.
However the project to date Poke mentions is focused on the existing pit of which thered be no cash flow anytime soon without dredging works at least.
Even then Id suspect treatment will be required on ongoing nature given what Ive seen elsewhere and this can take some time. Hence why the ML is taking so long in Greenland as shown in my links. What concerns me is the thorium. Its hard to capture it all. Which means it stays in the waste water as does other talings. To pump this into the sea would be an issue. I suspect it may all need to be stored. This would obviously require a huge catchment facility based on the pit size alone. Just potential concern anyway and I cant find anything on how this can be done.
gbb can you advise of a strategy to deal with this?
Ill assume being the former owner youd have a good idea?
Ill take an absent response as theres nothing really available besides a catchment as Ive stated.

haha thats actually funny. Yes I can see you seeing that pic and feeling it a downramp. Its more a representation of age. The other buildings you mention arent all functional. I understand they look good externally. Recent lick of paint. For the tourists. But they are examples of the time externally and you arent allowed to enter. I believe too there may be a couple they keep for visitors to stay in if they pass through as otherwise its abandoned overall.
    Here I found it
Today, Ivittuut’s main draw is tourism; around seven buildings are still in good shape with newly painted exteriors. A small, yellow house with blue trim and a red door used to be a clubhouse for the town’s tennis court. Next door, a green building stands that was once the mine’s office and a yellow building that was once a hospital. Today, the former hospital serves as accommodation for anyone passing through or looking to stay in the town on a hunting tripVisitors to Ivittuut are encouraged to act respectfully, not to enter the homes and to cause as little damage as possible to the fragile structures. My interest in where the water comes from suggests how best to manage. Seepage from the sea suggests wall concerns. The wall is either porous to some degree. Or overflow during heavy seasons from the Fjord. It would mean a few things. But mainly ongoing treatment and operational effect. eg shut down, hazards etc.
But mainly its so the water can be somehow mitigated to stop mixture with the thorium which can create a real hazrd if not managed well. I can supply a bit of info on this if youd like. I think its a real concern that hasnt yet been identified and it may be the reason Jefferies mention of previous buyers walked away.

Also the previous owner knows about it. I believe he considers it a major concern but hes not commenting here on it so far.
gbb would you like to update holders on your thoughts on the thorium and weather its a concern?
That is gbb of course. Not a junior spokesperson
