yes I also doubt the Donlin power / highway program.

an 18 km all weather road from whiskey bravo to korbel is not unreasonable.

but that still means that all machinery would have to be flown in by dc3.. which could never bring in the big trucks they will need to cart ore to any heap leach or ore sorting machines - which would take a large warehouse / shed structure to house....

an all weather road connection to the nearest highway is probably the only way that this project can go forward.

RPM is a big complication within some pretty extreme topography, far south of Korbel and Whiskey Bravo and unless there is some serious grades with crazy solid deposits, I can't see how it can be feasible.... There is no infrastructure out there it's in the middle of nowhere, and this is not usually a problem, but with extreme weather conditions, the site is only workable 4-5 months per year. It is only now (June) at they are able to drill out there and will have to pack anything up by October....

    wtf is nova doing?

its like the company is still beholden to some sort of irrational behind the scenes megalomaniac...wonder who that could be....

perhaps AK's 15 percent is more of a driving force than we realise or are informed about.....
