I have worked in Africa. Andrew Forrest has not to my knowledge. Unless you have worked there you would struggle to understand how terribly corrupt and dangerous it is and how difficult it is to construct anything let alone a project of this size. Australian listed companies stay away for a reason. FMG investing anywhere in Africa is a bad idea and this is one of the worst parts of Africa to invest. FMG putting money into DRC is a terrible idea.
