    It's not nonsense at all.
    Ill give you an example, bluescope/colorbond vs nexsteel.
    bluescope = cheaper, thiner paint layer, less warranty
    nexsteel = more expensive, thicker paint layer, longer warranty.
    Given the choice, over 9 times out of 10 customers choose the colorbond as they don't care about the extra 5/10 years or so warranty, they just want the cheaper one that does the job now.
    Same with concrete, they just want the cheaper one that does the job now.
