    bris, the obvious place for the indices here and japan and the US to bounce is a 38.2% retracement of the march - june rally. Japan has already been trashed today and we only have an hour to close....we will probably get there tomorrow...the 14th. The SPX needs to get to around 850 and is currently around 880. It could get there tonight in one really bad night but I would suggest it may do it over 2 nights and also bottom on the 14th.
