Victorian citizens who worked in aged care live in the community in which covid was not able to be controlled due to severe underfunding of contact tracing, slow response and release into the community care of bungled hotel quarantine.

My view is that aged care facilities are intrinsically integrated into the community with many interactions on a daily basis.

Isolation is not a reasonable option, indeed the results of covid in the community on all aged care folk and those who worked there was ghastly, unable to be visited, unable to see their carers faces or see other residents and so on.

But there were no infections in Victorian state-run aged care.

All are federally-run private mobs who would quietly lift restrictions and wonder why the virus had taken hold.

Ridiculous and biased to argue it's the state's fault.
