Absolutely right! The simple question is, how can we have an immigration policy when we have people arriving illegally. An immigration policy means we target skill sets and demographics to grow our industry when taking into account our existing unemployed. When we do have immigration, we must consider housing, work and water requirements with the increased population. My take it is the ABC trying to tug on our heart strings with ONE unfortunate family when there would be millions of unfortunate families in this world looking for settlement. Our government has a duty to look after our industry, housing and people and should not make any exceptions.
