Hi Eqz, yes nothing had changed fundamentally. Problem is SENTIMENT has changed. Sentiment is a huge force in the equites market. Sentiment turns to negative or sell, SP falls like an elevator. Investors are like sheep and follow the trend. This then feeds itself in a negative spiral and logic goes out the window. Investor A sells, investor B sees A selling and follows because he assumes A knows something he doesn't. Soon C, D, E etc jump in because the trend becomes a sell fulfilling prohecy. Does not matter that A had no idea why he hit the sell button. People are basically stupid, l worked that out years ago looking after all sorts of morons as an RN. Even smart people get sucked into a vortex in group dynamics, where logical independent reason becomes morphed by a synergy academics call group think. Group think is basically a host of emotional expressions that suppress an individuals natural urge to act logically and independently. Fact. Explains the current irrational sell off that is turning me into a poor person once again.
