one thing that strikes me as peculiar about this debate is that the primary concern of AGW skepticism is the integrity of the candidates, and the validaty of the link between cause and effect, whilst the primary concern of the AGW lobby is in fact the safety and well being of the planet, and therefore their fellow man.
i have already been charged with using personal slur instead of evidence. and yet the last 24hrs of anti AGW posts in this thread seem to be little more than personal slurs.
it is rather strange that these people, who claim to be ALSO concerned about the environment (but in a more scientific way than those reactionary AGW mob) would chose to be so fixated with slagging off a person who happens to be just one very vocal element of an entire movement, and choses his own business minded way of contributing to that movement. anyone would think that global warming was his idea. perhaps everyone else was alseep when they were teaching it at school in the 80s?
also ironic is that it is all business minded people who are complaining about this so called failed politician. are they also just failed businessmen, feeling a little threatened?
i notice that it is mostly successful brand name businesses who are getting behind the AGW cause.
a theme is emerging here. have some dignity and quit hiding behind the thin veneer of alleged scientific concern.
