With M&A so prevalent in financial services (see todays AFR with Mason Stevens as an example), EP1 with 19.9% swinging was bound to be a target at some stage for action. Clark Perkins who runs Mercury is ex GSWere as is David Evans, so this could be a friendly alliance not the hostile one the T Pitt brought. Wealth advisors are having a great sales period with markets so strong, EP1 should be doing well....
