Ya,
Is the North West Shelf just the one oil field with 2 platforms & a mix of failed & producing wells? Whereas Poseidon and Kontiki are 2 separate fields. Because the North West Shelf is a vast area of WA I used to think it referred to different oil fields.
Thanks for correcting Skybiz's rather premature estimate of Karoon,s Oz gas reserves. A few weeks ago the Victorian Minister of Oil , or Energy, said that Victoria(Bass Straight) produced 70% of Australian gas. With all the devpt in WA now, surely WA must be approaching
50%?
