Every expert, including me, said it would be a major mistake to go to war against the Afghans - the last warrior race. No invading force, including super powers, throughout history have ever beaten these people because they don't understand their culture, nor their refusal to be subjugated. Had the politicians thought to seek the advice of the experts, then countless lives would have been saved and the $trillions spent could have been used for better purpose. In the end the experts were right - go figure!
