Graphene scams have been well documented over recent years.....
I would highlight the following red flags:
- Michael Taylor who wrote the article does not provide a link to the research, a professional failure that would make any journalist cringe.
- A search of Advanced Functional Materials website fails to find any mention of such a study.
- A search of the University of Queensland website for "aluminum-ion battery" also fails to find any mention of the technology.
- GMG's website does not provide a postal or street address for the company just a suburb (Sumner Park) in QLD.
- I tried phoning GMG on their website listed phone number - "the person you are contacting is unavailable please leave a message" no company or persons name in the message.
- The Facebook page also fails to list a phone number.....there are links to interviews that don't work....
The ASX has certain levels of compliance, transparency and ethics......
Is this a scam designed to drive up the share price of GMG listed on the TSX in Toronto? Pump and dump schemes are certainly not uncommon when breakthroughs are involved. Caveat emptor!
It is well documented that Deakin have been working on LiS for over 10 years.
