I really hope BrainChip succeeds, but as with any tech startup, the chances of success are very small. Either the product doesn't work as well as is first hoped, a competitor comes along and builds a better and/or cheaper mouse trap, or a new paradigm proves superior. The tech startup graveyard is filled with companies whose tech sounded incredibly promising at one stage.
Of course if BrainChip does succeed, it will do very well. Unfortunately, probability is not on your side.
