I expect OCJ to continue to grow its position in AVZ. Would not be surprised if they are holding us down here (via bots) in the 15-16 range as they fill up. They ended up with approx 22% of FMS. They hold less that 1% of AVZ right now. If they use the same modus operandi here it will see them increasing size of holding +20x of last known holding. We should get a notice shortly of 5% ownership if I'm not mistaken. If that is their intent then they better get skates IMHO on as key anns coming will make AVZ run and it will cost them dearly if they wait to long for cheap entry.

Perhaps using the OCJ investment (Aust) holding company to mask that fact that they are controlled by Chinese entities (...according to posters on FMS threads) and avoid OZ FIRB snooping around as it will be under the radar. Chinese have moved on FFX recently. Europeans and US agitating for more EV resource. If I were Chinese I would want to put my foot on the neck of this "road runner" to control it before other suitors get to close.

I think we will get a takeover offer shortly. SEZ, ML, Finance ... then takeover shortly there after. Best we can hope for here is a bidding war. Still see Glencore, Middle Eastern or European entity as main instigators. Outright Chinese ownership is not an option in current climate. As well as tension between Oz and DRC it seems DRC is creating distance from Chinese with Twiggy deal recently and the recent ban on exports of Cu/Cobalt.

Question is how much of the register do the Chinese directly or indirectly control at this time.?
