Yes, that is what I’m hoping for. The US market for lotteries would be be significantly larger opportunity for JIN (estimated to be over 29% of global lottery sales) especially given the potential massive jackpots and the lower online lottery penetration there at present.
JIN is in Australia and UK and naturally the US would be the next steps. If that’s the case, and we are right about their next steps, I’d be thrilled with management for taking a measured approach to their growth plans and not just acquiring at the wrong time and dilutively - until they’re more established in their home country. It’s a compatible space but their software can easily be implemented and scaled in the US if an agreement is reached and they have good track records.
They could also do a similar approach to UK and assist the charity lottery sector as well.
If any of the above alone (and I have not yet mentioned Europe or even Asia) materialises, I suspect we would be moving back into the $20+ share price levels.
