I see no reason why somebody who makes significant and worthwhile contributions to the forum should not get recognition and thanks for same.

I doubt if MINOTAUR comes round to your house and forces you to read his posts or follow his methods and tips. If you don't like what he has to say then just move on - there are thousands of other posters on the forum that you can read.
