    Could it work the other way? With rising inflation, rising interest rates along. Lots of defaulting on debt by people and businesses - many of whom are already under financial stress. Reduced spending, falling residential property values as well as commercial and industrial property values, which, perhaps are already priced for perfection. I really don't know, perhaps I'm being far to pessimistic and they'll keep the system propped up for another decade.
