I was thinking you fell for the trap…. Got to remember a lot of people on these threads want your shares cheaper! Everyone is pushing a agenda even on the charting threads which you all are amazed about! Yes they are good but they aren’t going to show you unless they are going to make money from it…
But also if you have taken a loan out and can’t pay it back if this all fails probably not a good idea! So try and free carry….
I think it is best to think back on why you initially invested in the teens before you got carried away with excitement when we took off to the top before the shakedown! (Always happens)
I missed my last opportunity to top up when it was sitting at 18.5 consolidating… Was 2 days late before money hit my account! My average is still in the single digits and the way I look at it is - I won’t get the bang for my buck at these levels!!
I do play a different game to most… I like to find them when they are ridiculously cheap (sometimes by chance) and then I research the crap out of them these days (and I will tell you why a bit further on)! Once they start to take off I hold out for the long haul now (or until I see a chink in the armour) and look for the next one while keeping a eye on the daily price and what the teams are doing on HC.
Basically I am doing what everyone tells you not to do on the stock market, they say - “buy the blue chips, dividends etc” but I do like a gamble and know where the real money is made! I have been investing for almost 4 years and went through my first stock market crash very early on! A lot of people will have a tax issue who bought at those covid “sale” lows hence what you are seeing here and across the board on the asx! Come new financial things shall start to become interesting…. Very interesting!
My first year investing (which is why I research now) I did quite well with doubles, triples and one 4 up! I started with medical marijuana when it was all the rage and went into the miner stocks and two now I regret selling…. LTR and STX both I found when around 6c and sold around 20c…. (Wish I researched them more - sold and thought I was a genius without doing more research into the macro environment)
A lot is these trolls here are trying to convince you of this being a pump and dump stock… A recent classic example is CHK who are drilling next to Olympic dam - comments and pump on HC of insiders are all buying (they were) and a 1500m drill with visuals everyone was pumping on and on about turned out to be 2m (by memory) of copper… Absolutely nothing! This 4-5 bagged for some…. I’m heavily invested in the copper space elsewhere so I watched in amazement the hype about CHK! Another classic was a oil company with pictures of a “hot oil truck” leaving the site and all other pumping all over Facebook and HC… That bagged out for many and came crashing down instantly. (Can’t remember the name) you do have to be careful research is the key to winning!
The only time this will be a dump stock is when the trails fail or kill someone! (They will try and shake you out like after the AFR and a few times recently - research tree shake
)The science is here and is good… Be happy with your initial investment, don’t get greedy and sit back and let the good times roll!! Nothing goes up in a straight line always remember that!! It took many years for this beast to leave the station from 1c and people like pilbaraboy who rode it out will be sitting on many millions of dollars when this gets bought out! And when that happens it is time for some creative accounting
