No - we haven't been told whether the uni lab will be any faster or cheaper than an actual commercial lab.
Given that they currently don't have the required equipment, plus SGS will be doing the sample prep followed by further road transport, I doubt it's going to be quicker. Plus who works faster: contract workers at a lab vs university nerds.
The only reason that makes sense is that the uni won't mind having BBX personnel poking around during the process and adding in their special flux.
