The main problem we have is quarantined travellers or hotel staff or transport staff contracting covid and wandering through society for days before we find out. Let us say over the next MONTH 10 of these scenarios happen. Surely one would rapid test, even twice daily, this small, small group of people for, say, a month after they leave quarantine. (the workers are twice daily) From this group of 10 that escaped into society for days and days, you end up with ONE. You catch the 9 out of 10.

You dont need to stop whatever PCR thing is happening. But you have simply stopped 9 disasters (well the millions of dollars associated with the contact tracing and the 100s of millions of dollars from the resulting lockdowns). You have to deal with the ONE that slipped through. But you have saved 100s of millions of dollars by catching the 9.

Why does the govt not do that? They are actually spending more $ and giving a worse health outcome because they are old dinosaurs who cannot use the brain that God gave them.
