Like 500,000 dead in Brazil and the US because of the virus ,if we took that risk averse attitude the pandemics of the recent past would have wiped out and maimed hundreds of millions of people and our way life would be very different than it is today,it would resemble life in the middle ages where technology stood still and life was a misery for most.Fortunately today technology has advanced and development of drugs and vaccines have much more regulation and testing regime's before they are used and monitoring when they start being used there have been issues in the past but nearly all have been remedied,the issues with vaccines are usually evident in the first 8 to 12 weeks.
