if you had any genuine interest in glaciers you would look at sites like the National Snow & Ice Data Center, part of NOAA, oand the World Glacier Monitoring service (WGMS) which more than 130 glaciers around the world, including 41 reference glaciers where measurements have extended over at least 30 continuous years.

the following paragraphs are lifted from the site of the WGMS. The news is almost all bad.

“The observed glaciers were close to steady states during the 1960s followed by increasingly strong ice loss until present.

“The almost doubling of the ice loss rates in each decade until present (over diminishing glacier surface areas) leaves no doubt about ongoing climate change and sustained forcing, even if a part of the observed acceleration trend is likely to be caused by positive feedback process (e.g. surface lowering, glacier disintegration).

“The average mass balance of the glaciers with available long-term observation series around the world continues to be negative. The new data continues the global trend in strong ice loss over the past few decades.”

Zipperlip, in a world experiencing MMCC glaciers are readily observable physical features that show great sensitivity to temperature changes.

Here’s something for you to read.

I agree that temperature effects any form of ice, that glaciers shrink, move and even grow depending on weather patterns and that they also did this before MMCC became a “thing”.
