    Cool. Yes a bot is automated trading robots, usually used by big players. As I understand it, if someone or an institution wanted to buy or sell a high volume of shares and did so all at once they would dramatically affect the share price. So they "accumulate" in relatively normal sized parcels so it's not out of the ordinary.

    Some would say it's scaremongering but I personally believe it to be true that they also use these bots to manipulate the SP. For instance placing massive orders in to "scare the cattle", or pushing prices to key levels to trigger people's automatic stop losses etc etc

    Also, many share issues are done based on an average prices over a number of sessions. You can't tell me that it wouldn't be in someone's interests to sell down a SP even by a few ticks to bring that average down.

    Or maybe I just have an evil mind.

    Prorealtime is a little clunky as far as lists and templates and things go but what program doesn't have faults?
