nro i will answer your questions as silly as they are you don't have to dredge the pit its rock yes there will be some rubbish on the bottom due to time but nothing much, in fact last time it was cleaned up in a day or two water sampling conducted in the last year or so ,show no difference in water quality from the top to the bottom the water when pumped would go to the bottom of the fiord which is deep and almost lifeless the waters quality is slightly better than that of the ocean permission that depends on the company and some luck with the virus etc but i would think its possible in 3 to 6 months but that puts you in winter so i would suspect they may try for next year . but i don't know on that as i am not involved in running the company. most of the eia is already complete finally your conviction the 10 m wall is unstable due to earthquakes greenland has about the same number of small quakes as WA and in perth we are not being rocked and rolled all day by a moving ground. the wall has held for some 160 years including most with no water in the pit . to put that in perspective ,many granite pits around perth have similar heights in their walls and i dont see anyone running around thinking they are going to collapse because of perth earth quakes
