F111,
Technologically you are right.Yes they all absorb energy..it down to the most energy efficient process to produce a viable commercial outcome (product)with a return much greater than the TDC/u (total development cost per unit..which includes energy cost) from the commercial demo plant.
If the competing processes cannot achieve commercial viabilty then the game is over for them and their investors.
All I know is that the first process to achieve commercial viability will have the lions share of the market.
ESI IP is being sold as a product and not the extruded coal shapes coming out of the sphincter end of the process.
It is being sold/marketed to developing countries that have the basic resources and money to produce the end product without the red tape and development hurdles and lack of infrastructure funding that we have in Australia to get to the end product.
IMO it would be stupid of ESI to divert shareholders money into manufacturing pellets in Australia..it won't work..
If they want to get involved in LaTrobe Valley with power stations then the power stations need to supply the development funds.
Licensing technology with appropriate royalties is the way.
For day traders non of this is irrelevant..it's all about the hourly (or less ) fluctuations to turn a profit ..fair enough..I have no problem with this..
At least the day traders have made ESI be noticed again..good or bad.
I have put my money where my mouth is for my own reasons.
As always
