Trying to use announcements to pump the SP is exactly what the ASX is cracking down on, as they should.

It makes no difference if the announcement comes on open, two hours later or at the end of the day. Those with an interest in CDX, traders and investors alike, will see it whenever it comes, judge it on its merits and act accordingly.

A new high/support level will only form when the market determines there are sufficient fundamental reasons to re-rate the SP. At the moment that hasn't happened.

Craig Cooper said, 'the significance of the Agreement for our product development vision cannot be underestimated.' I agree, and posted something similar when it was first Tweeted. As good as the partnership with LifeQ is, it's not yet revenue-accretive. It's a product dev milestone, albeit an excellent one.

It's also not the announcement the market is waiting for, which is release of the Mobvoi-CardieX smartwatch, hopefully with details of what that will mean for revenue.

Notwithstanding anything else from left-field like LifeQ, that's when a re-rate is more likely to happen.
