The reason why there has been volatility in the stock price is that it's come from below 1c off very favourable annoucements. We are talking huge churn of stock from about mid-April of about 1.2 billion shares...3 times as many shares as on issue!!!!...traders, long term holders etc...who knows.
Everybody know's the market has been crap over the last year and the stock was slowly sold down from a high of 11c to 5c at the end of 30th June. What's the significance...anyone with a large profit would be smart to offset their other 'losses' against their profits before the 30th June.
Since then the impedice to 'sell' has gone and those that locked in profits, could repurchase with a new baseline cost price. Along with positive annoucements such as the former Pfizer head and you get upward momemtum.
