please can we stop now. look at the mess the world is in now. partly due to people playing with silly financial instruments that nobody actually knows about and even dumber people agreeing to buy them because the other not so dumb guy selling them said they were good.....
no need for weather derivative, imo, and no need for weather insurance. weather insurance would cover you downtime due to bad weather (which really isnt that much). what it doesnt cover you for is the damage you do to your own equipment due to incompetence in dis-connecting and this is the problem with GPC.
Again, like in my last post, can we make NDO the operator of Galoc????????
