    @sailorgirl; was my earlier detailed real world response to the point you've again made too difficult to understand?

    You're confusing scientifically established and documented global warming trends with ocean current movements.

    Like many other devices invented by humankind output from solar panels is impacted by extremes such as temperature in excess of 40' and their output reduced by cloud cover - something that is now significantly lower than it was just 50 years ago and easily seen with the number of 'wet days' recorded at weather stations!

    I'm disappointed that you did not realise from the real world data I provided that power generation was lower during my regions' recent drought years of 2017-2018 due to the extreme heat caused by cloudless skies during the Summer months - NOT by higher rainfall!
