Here's an opportunity to learn what happens when a stock does a CR with an attached SPP.
What's currently happening is we have investors doing/pondering a number of things:
- Sitting at 12.0c in the hope they may get stock cheaper than the 12.5c SPP
- Putting large sums into the SPP in the hope that when/if they are scaled they will still get enough
- Waiting for 28th to pay their SPP - as they are rarely closed early and it can pay to wait and see what happens to the share price
- Mopping up everything at 12.5c as thats the price the sophies paid and you may not get your fill at the SPP due to scaling
- Selling what was held at record date above the 12.5c in the hope you will get it back at 12.5c in the SPP and pocket a few pips
- Doing nothing as they are set and awaiting the SPP to be completed
What the company is currently doing:
- Nothing - because they have the placement done, the SPP will undoubtedly fill, and there is no point giving the market anything at the present time
- Pondering how much of the (probably) oversubscribed SPP they should accept (of course they already know how much has been subscribed so far).
This is FAR from a dead stock. This is a very active stock - just snoozing until the SPP is completed.
SPP shares are issued 5th July - so look for the stock to be well and truly active after that date.
Finally - do not listen to a word that has been posted on this stock by a prolific poster over the last few weeks who has nfi
