Yes, @Pioupiou, I could have worded my first paragraph better. I was only thinking about the trolls and pests who:

• flood the forum with many repetitious posts, without any facts or reasons to back up their views;
• never take any notice of responses from others, and never change their views;
• try to swamp the few good posts with the sheer number of rubbish posts, including from those who should know better and keep responding to the trolls/pests.

My intent was not to discourage genuine posters from stating an opinion (ideally with reasons), or novice investors seeking advice. I agree with others that those with opposing views (again with reasons) should be valued. However, they should not be repetitive. If we had more of these, I might have avoided the occasional investment mistake due to my occasional "rose coloured glasses".
