The funds might be paid on that date but the pricing mechanism is the explained elsewhere. Suggest you read more. I expect the floor price is used to ensure that there is capacity under 7.1 even if the price is low. But a higher price m and less shares and sufficient capacity under 7.1 is not an issue.
