There likely will be construction delays, cost over runs, recovery issues and mechanical failures. You are quiet right. Plus a whole lot of other unforeseen challenges.
But given we are where we are now, you have to admit, we are in the box seat with plenty of scope, compared to many other hopefuls.
From a possible potential point of view, IMO we stand alone.
Do your own research, its worth the time.
