I have already explained the rationale for the thread heading.

ACC is a fact.

191 nations who signed the Paris agreement acknowledge that ACC is happening and needs to be limited to 2 degrees or better 1.5 degrees. It is not as if in the few recalcitrant nations ACC is not scientific fact, but political expediency prevents acknowledgement of the obvious.

The transition from ICE cars to EVs is fact.

It is happening due to a critical mass of leading industrialised nations having placed use by dates on ICE car manufacture and former ICE car manufacturers increasingly committing to phasing out ICE car production.

If people are not interested in discussing the premise of the thread heading, I am not compelling them to comment. Indeed I am not interested in talking about the same old ACC arguments that get thrown in the ring over and over again. Those debates have been had many times here on HC and no one is going to change their mind on them I think.

Albert Einstein defined "insanity" as repeating the same mistake over and over again and expecting a different outcome...

If we are to discuss ACC and expect a different outcome from all the other times it has been discussed, insanity will prevail.
