ASX publish the data at around 12pm for the day prior. Just search asx shorts. It is a txt file and no history provided. Pretty crap really. I have a script that downloads it and stores it in a database and use that to graph. Yes short positions are stable but lots of peak on short sales. Implies to me the short action is manipulation as opposed to people taking conviction based short positions.
Shortman used to do similar but think ASX pinged them for publishing proprietary data. Continued awesome service from our ASX !
