we've got poorly educated people - we think of education as job training and we cannot even see the difference - we're that dumb
we've got large amounts of poverty - unemployed people of almost retirement age - we've got pensions that are so low that older people say that they suffer loneliness because of lack of money. We've got growing homelessness
we've got little cash to spend - but, our 'wealth' is supposedly growing greatly because our house prices are soaring --------- and, we actually think that's good??
we've got infrastructure failing -- power crises, limited prep for EV's, so little progress to EV's that major manufactures don't send cars to Oz.
We've got failing health services, aged care in crisis, we've got the shared first position of the worst behaved schoolchildren on the planet
we've got idiots telling us that our economy will be in the poo until 2060 and telling us how many workers there will be compared to how many over 65 year olds by then --
totally missing that workers won't be used anyway because we'll have robots
what exactly have we got for the debt???????????
Europe does it differently ---------- yes - it still has debt - and it's still a problem - but, the debt is used to make society better - or at least attempts to.
A blind man on a galloping horse can see somewhat where the future is going - and the needs for it -
we will need a highly educated populace - and educated in the classics - not job training - because jobs will just not be for all that long
we will need totally different social security and welfare systems - with, IMO - a vastly different charter ---------- NOT to be viewed as a cost - but, as an investment
meanwhile - with a needs list like that - all we have is a bunch of total no hoper Liberals who think that it's still 1950 and that one day maybe - they can return us to that era
it's ridiculous
at least some of Europe is aware that we are changing and where we are going - even if no one knows quite how to get there yet
