They probably feel there're better ways to spend money than an announcement that historically means nothing to the public investor base.
I'm happy for them to fold it in on the next announcement.
Let's all be honest here. If they did alert the trading community of the patent, what difference would that have made? How much would it cost?
Right now I'm really sure they're more interested in getting this thing dusted than appealing to the punter base. If we do need another CR they'll likely struggle and don't want to ask for more than absolutely necessary to make things happen.
