I find comments such as 'why post if you don't hold stocks' downright stupid.

If the only people who post are the ones who hold the stock what sort of healthy discussion are people expecting? Are you so deluded that you only want to hear the views of people who hold the stock and therefore believe in its value?

Are people so self deluded that all they seek from this forum is to reaffirm their view that they are 'onto a winner'? I think the answer is yes to above. Some people are downright ignorant - especially the ones who repeatedly cry out 'downramping' every time an alternative view appears...as if this word gives them credibility.

I see no problem whatsoever with people not holding stocks posting on them. Are you only allowed to have a view if you hold a stock? Have you considered the possibility that maybe someone has done some research on the stock and found that they don't believe it has any value and so they do not hold - but after doing the research they still have some interest in the stock.
