they haven’t handed out the vaccine distribution though. Sadly the federal department of health continues to have their sticky fingers all over it. A policy department trying to do an operational job with no idea of how things actually work on the ground.
Constantly changing their minds and then trying to control while the people responsible for making it happen shake their head in disbelief and find a way to actually make it work. But they can’t magic up the vaccines when they don’t exist and they can’t help the clinics either.
There’s a ghastly mess that involves the federal government doing deals with mates in relation to aged care vaccinations But sadly those mates don’t have a clue on much other than making money. For some reason though the ministers still think there might be PR opportunities at some point so they dare not let go entirely just in case they miss it.
